All things coming together

I took a few days to be away from the city and back to rural living in the northeastern part of Thailand. The weather is cold here during the winter of Thailand. The mornings and evenings can hit a low of 15 to 16 degrees Celsius. This morning I woke up to a 12 degrees Celsius. I have also been busy with some gardening works and also home improvement project. Life is slow but very fulfilling. There is no rush in everything that you set to do. If you can’t finish it today, you can always leave it to tomorrow. When you are tired, you rest. When you are hungry, you stop and fill your stomach. When it’s time to just sit around to enjoy a cup of coffee, you just do it.

One thing I like about the rural life is that it’s in this life that you see how the different beings come together in harmony. You see how the animals, the humans, the forest and nature, the insects and the many other beings all living together. No one is trying to outshine anyone and each has its own role to play in this ecosystem. Even the universe, the sun, the moon and the stars, they all are in harmony with us. Having spent a good 4 days here, I am pretty recharged and feeling that some forms of healing and recovery has taken place. I have regained some strength to return back to normal working. Thanks to nature and the forest for providing the healing and recovery.
