Time to Breathe - Seeking for Healing

Last week was rather challenging for me. I have been under the weather since May Day. It started with some discomfort in my throat and followed by fever. Then my whole system crashed and I eventually had to see a doctor so that I could rest at a home. I lost my sense of taste and smell on the second day. I could not smell anything and I couldn’t taste much from the food I was having. So for 2 days, my body was in a shut-down mode and I wasn’t able to do much. Lot’s of medications and lots of vitamins to boost up the immune system.

On the Thursday day, I was slowly recovering and was slowly regaining my body strength, probably about 40 to 50 %. However, still I wasn’t able to taste and smell most parts of the things around me. I tried breathing in ya-dom but I could only sensed the coolness but I couldn’t smell anything from it.

On Saturday, I started to regain back slightly my sense of taste and smell. I could vaguely smell things and I could taste some flavours but not all. On Sunday, when I had regained about 60% of my energy and also my sense of taste and smell mostly, I decided to enter the park to inhale from nature. I wanted to be able to inhale the energy there so that I can have a faster recovery from this. I spotted a Bodi Tree in the park and immediately I felt the connection with the tree. I placed my hands on the tree and started breathing in the air around it. The Bodi Treet is a very spiritual tree and it is commonly associated with strength and resilience. This really gave me a boost to my weakened body.

Sometimes, we need to let our body have a time to reset its system and take time to breathe in and out. Breathing is a God-given gift that we acquire at the minute we leave our mother’s womb. The first sign of life in us is breathing in through our nostrils. Taking time to breathe is to take time to let life enters into you again and be re-vitalized by the breath of life.
